L’amour C’est La Cécité (2024)

Can you guess what this story is about? I’d love to hear what some of you may interpret from this. 🤡 I was never sure this day would come. This illustration in particular means a lot to me because I really didn’t do it for anyone but myself. I REALLY took my time and it might be a surprise to some of you that I started this idea in 2022 funny enough, right after I put out my first clown. When I started this idea, I didn’t have the skills at the time to bring it to life the way I had originally wanted, so I put it to the side. The fact that it wasn’t finished always bothered me so I took time to study other artists who had these amazing styles that I was just so obsessed with. And what do you know? Over 25,000 strokes later and a number of hours spent exploring and trying and failing and trying again. Here she is, out for the world to finally see. And I’m proud to say that she’s a part of me.
